Use the red cross to pinpoint your parking location on the map. To return to your saved spot, simply follow the red arrow in Augmented Reality.
The Home View feature offers:
- Augmented Reality: a red arrow directs you to your saved location, where a scaled red tag is placed (relative to distance).
- Distance in meters: displays the distance between your current GPS-based location and the saved point.
- GPS accuracy: indicates the horizontal uncertainty of the GPS signal (+/- meters).
Swiping Right on Home View reveals:
- Satellite or Standard map options.
- Your current GPS-based location.
- Your current heading direction (based on your device's magnetometer).
- Red Cross: used to select the location you wish to save.
Swiping Left on Home View provides:
- The street address near your saved location.
- Time elapsed since you saved the location.
Swiping Up on Home View unveils:
- Compass in Augmented Reality.
Swiping Down on Home View hides the compass.
Note: GPS signals may be obstructed by solid objects. CarLocator with AR is designed for use in open-sky areas. Avoid using it near metallic objects or magnetic cases for optimal performance. The magnetometer in your device is utilized by CarLocator with AR to determine your current heading.
